In this webinar, you will learn key anchor points that you need to employ and remember right now to ensure that your classes are inspirational, transformative and true to you.

Whether you are new to teaching, are thinking about doing a yoga teacher training, or you want to reinvigorate your message, this conversation delivers accessible tips and strategies that will help you:

  • Find the balance between offering safe and clear physical directives (what to do with the body) with spiritual and authentic delivery of themes and ideas
  • Discover your voice, say what you want to say and gain confidence in your message
  • Trust the practice, the process and the pacing of becoming an impactful teacher and facilitator

I have been practicing and teaching yoga since 1997, leading teacher trainings since 2008 and my own method - HoopYogini - since 2013. After working with thousands of students and reviewing hundreds of certification videos, I know first hand what new and emerging teachers struggle with.

This webinar goes beyond lesson planning and gives you tools from direct experience on how to live from your center and teach from your core.

The Teacher Appears

Lesson Plan Hacks for the Yoga & Movement Educator with Nicole Stevenson & Jocelyn Gordon

You are the teacher - a guide and facilitator of transformation. You help people shift from tense to relaxed, anxious to spacious, heavy to light.

Lesson Plans definite your class (course, workshop or retreat) and identify a rhythm and learning trajectory for delivering your message.

One of the best ways you can cultivate your craft and increase your impact is to gain experience in creating lesson plans.

In this webinar, you will discover:

  • How creating lesson plans is a spiritual practice in itself
  • The two types of lesson plans
  • The importance of having a personalized Arc Of Transformation - a rhythm and template you create that helps you and your students achieve goals and objectives
  • Tips and tools for choosing content and pacing your classes
  • Energetic ways to tap in and tune into the needs of your students and future events
  • Ways to invite your students to learn more about your offerings and further their practice with you

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, however it is helpful to have a template and structure for planning and delivering insightful and elevated classes. Even if you are guiding a spontaneous offering, gaining experience creating lesson plans helps you embody a structure that you can confidently call upon when you are called to guide and serve.

Show up. Be prepared. Let go and serve.

About HoopYogini™

Created by Jocelyn Gordon, HoopYogini is a holistic fitness practice that combines hula hooping with hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation. The practice utilizes the modern adult-size hula hoop for flow, self-awareness and as a functional fitness tool to strengthen and stretch the body. Stretching with the hoop in familiar hatha yoga patterns releases mental and physical tension, develops present-moment awareness, and affirms healthy beliefs and actions. "Transformation can be fun" is the core belief infused in this dynamic, accessible and joy-filled practice. HoopYogini is doctor approved.
